Miami (Fla.) defensive end D.J. Johnson had 100 scholarship offers coming out of high school, but after one year has decided to move a little closer to home.
On Monday, he committed to the University of Oregon, a program that recruited him heavily during his initial process.
The Oregonian/OregonLive's Andrew Nemec called Johnson to discuss his reasons for transferring, what it is that appeals to him about Oregon the second time around and when he'll be suiting up in Eugene.
AN: What was the reason for your decision to transfer?
DJ: My mom has sleep apnea - severe sleep apnea.
