Progression of rebuilding process Oregon's focus heading into Civil War

EUGENE -- Oregon and Oregon State enter the Civil War as two programs in the midst of different stages of rebuilding.

With that process comes less attention on the national stage and lesser implications compared to the four meetings of the rivals as ranked foes, but bragging rights and the postseason implications for the Ducks will have to suffice as the stakes for Friday's game.

Oregon cornerback Thomas Graham Jr. acknowledged the impact on the team's bowl possibilities, which still range enormously, is something players consider, though it's not their primary focus this week.

"We're more looking at solidifying the uprising and the building of this program," Graham said.
