SEATTLE – Payton Pritchard drilled a step-back three-pointer with :03 remaining in overtime to cap No. 8 Oregon's stunning 64-61 comeback victory over Washington Saturday afternoon at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Pritchard's shot was true from 26 feet, the last of his 22 points ensuring that the Wooden Award candidate would never lose in Seattle during his career as a Duck.
"I'll be there to make that play. Take that shot. Make that pass," said Pritchard. "We kept fighting the whole game."
Chandler Lawson played just as a significant role for Oregon (15-4, 4-2 Pac-12) with career highs of 16 points and 12 rebounds for his first career double-double.
