It has been more than a month since the Oregon Ducks football program last added a recruit into its potentially-historic 2019 recruiting class.
But that could change Thursday, as 247Sports and Rivals four-star linebacker Jared Casey is set to announce his commitment and is down to a final four of Kentucky, Louisville, Oregon and Wisconsin.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound 'backer , out of Ballard High School (Louisville, Kentucky), took his official visit to Oregon in late September and came away impressed by what he saw in Eugene.
But will it be enough?
A commitment from Casey would give Oregon three four-star linebackers in the class of 2019, as he would join Under Armour All-American Ge'Mon Eaford and Mase Funa, the highest-rated linebacker pledge in program history.
