EUGENE, Ore. — Center Jackson Powers-Johnson and wide receiver Troy Franklin added more postseason honors to their resumes on Wednesday as Sporting News named Powers-Johnson to its all-America first team and Franklin to its second team.
Powers-Johnson has now been named a first-team all-American by each of the first four of five official outlets that make up consensus and unanimous all-America honors. He is the 11th consensus all-American in program history, and would become Oregon's fifth unanimous all-American if he lands on the AFCA first team on Thursday morning.
It is the third official second-team all-America honor for Franklin, who was also recognized by the FWAA and the Associated Press.
