Pac-12 men's basketball officials weren't compensated on time during the early part of the 2018-19 college basketball season.
The Oregonian/OregonLive has learned that the failure of the Pac-12 to compensate officials extended for two pay periods.
Andrew Walker, head of communications for the Pac-12 said: "That is correct that due to an error, for a number of early season games some of our officials were paid late."
Several officials were told by the conference that it was due to a clerical error. Others were told that the conference's trip to China had caused the oversight.
