From the start, the day was a battle of wills. The Pac-12 Tournament is typically where some teams play they best they have all season. The third game of the day came down to the final seconds between Colorado and Washington State. The Cougars pulled it out. The beginning of the Oregon/Arizona contest had a similar feel.
The Wildcats Defense jumped out to the better start holding the Oregon Ducks to 38 percent in the first quarter and 33 percent in the second quarter. Turnovers almost were the determining factor. Oregon had 18 to Arizona’s 10. In the end, Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard rallied the Ducks.
