Harry Glickman had a bologna sandwich for lunch on Tuesday. Then, he and his wife, Joanne, watched a movie -- "Saving Private Ryan." Then, they piled into the family sedan and headed off to watch the Trail Blazers open another NBA season at home.
Had Glickman not founded the Blazers all those years ago, different kind of night, see?
Portland beat New Orleans, 103-93 on Tuesday. Give Glickman another assist. I'm not sure how many current players on the roster even know the history, but I've taken to thinking about the franchise's founding father when I see the Blazers do something great.
