The Pac-12 hopes the NBA will follow through with its reported interest in effectively eliminating the "one-and-done" rule, based on a report the conference released Tuesday.
The request is the first reform outlined in the 51-page report written by a league task force created in October in the wake of the ongoing FBI investigation into college basketball recruiting practices, which has involved charges of bribery against four Division I assistant coaches (two in the Pac-12) and targeted agents, shoe company executives and financial advisers.
The 12-person committee developed a list of recommendations around eligibility, recruitment, NCAA enforcement and education.
