EUGENE -- Oregon's Ruthy Hebard and Sabrina Ionescu earned more preseason accolades, as the power forward and point guard were both among 30 players named to the watch list for the John R. Wooden award for national women's player of the year.
An AP preseason All-American, Ionescu averaged 19.7 points, 7.8 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game last season en route to winning the Nancy Lieberman award as the nation's top point guard and being a Wooden Award All-American.
Last year's winner of the Katrina McClain award as the nation's top power forward, Hebard averaged 17.6 points and 9.
