SAN FRANCISCO -- New Oregon guard Elijah Brown has experienced quite a lot in his college basketball career.
He's played in the Big East. He's played in the Mountain West. He has 1,479 points to his resume.
On Thursday, he experienced something a little different.
The New Mexico transfer, who began his career at Butler, almost didn't make it to the Pac-12's media day in San Francisco. He, along with teammate Payton Pritchard and coach Dana Altman, showed up to the Eugene airport Wednesday night around 9 p.m. after their flight had been delayed numerous times due the fires raging in Northern California.
