EUGENE -- Dillon Mitchell understands what Tristan Cooper was trying to do and the Oregon wide receiver isn't taking offense to the Arizona safety saying he thought it would be "great" to knock him out of last week's game.
Cooper delivered a brutal hit on Mitchell, who spent the early part of last week in concussion protocol but returned to help lead Oregon to a 42-21 win over UCLA on Saturday.
"It's a violent game. I mean things happen," Mitchell said. "I was most upset with people saying that I should be upset with (Justin) Herbert; that was my only thing.
