Oregon's Bol Bol scores 26 points vs. Syracuse, but says transition to college game 'pretty hard'

NEW YORK -- Bol Bol insists his transition to the college game hasn't been easy, even as observers are fawning over Oregon's 7-foot-2 freshman as he continues to "wow" them with his ability to score near the basket, shoot from long range, dribble and present a massive obstacle for opposing shooters.

On his 19th birthday, Bol scored a game-high 26 points and added nine rebounds and four blocks to lead No. 13 Oregon past No. 15 Syracuse 80-65 at Madison Square Garden.

Bol, who spoke publicly for the first time as a collegian after narrowly missing his third double-double in four games, was named to the All-Tournament team at the 2K Empire Classic.
