PULLMAN, Wash. -- What will be frustrating for Oregon after its second-half rally on The Palouse came up short, its hopes of a Pac-12 North title suffering a critical blow as a result, is that Washington State didn't do anything out of the ordinary.
After one of the bigger days in program history, Washington State coach Mike Leach said his team ran "routine basic stuff" on offense.
No Ducks disagreed.
"They were running the offense that they run, the defense that they run as well," Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said. "We felt mentally prepared but obviously when we play like that we got to put it on ourselves as coaches.
