EUGENE -- Oregon women's basketball opens the 2018-19 season with a homecoming for Alaska native Ruthy Hebard.
Suffice to say, tonight's game will be the hottest ticket in Alaska-Fairbanks basketball history.
Hebard's family and friends alone will fill a substantial portion of the 2,700-seat Patty Center tonight when it hosts the No. 3 Ducks (8 p.m. PT).
"We got told we were playing there, so then people came up to me (when I was home in the summer) all the time like I can't wait to see you, I'm going to get tickets," Hebard said. ".
