EUGENE -- With just 10 players, Oregon women's basketball will be relatively thin in the event of injury, but also allow for everyone to get that much more playing time in games and in practice.
Ducks coach Kelly Graves prefers to look at it mostly through the perspective of the latter as he begins to prepare his team, which was the preseason pick to win the Pac-12, for the upcoming season.
"We are who we are," Graves said. "The shortage of players doesn't really manifest itself in practice because we have so many (male practice players). Then once you get into games it's not that big a deal because the reality is you only play seven, eight or nine players anyway.
