The University of Oregon women and University of Portland men are among the favorites for national titles at the NCAA Cross Country Championships Saturday in Madison, Wisconsin.
The UO women and UP men head to Madison after winning NCAA West Regional titles Saturday in Sacramento.
The Ducks put three individuals in the top 10 at the regional meet, paced by second-place finisher Jessica Hull. Nick Hauger of Portland won the men's race at the regional. UP was the 2017 NCAA runner-up.
The Ducks are ranked second in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association women's poll.
