PORTLAND — Shakur Juiston had a double-double to lead four Ducks in double figures Tuesday as the Oregon men's basketball team won a matchup of top-15 teams in the Phil Knight Invitational, beating Memphis 82-74 at Moda Center.
No. 15 Oregon trailed for just 1:47 of the game, but the No. 14 Tigers surged several times to make the UO lead precarious, thanks in part to 18 turnovers and 15-of-27 free-throw shooting by the Ducks. The Tigers were within four at 71-67 with 4:01 to go, but three-pointers by Will Richardson and Payton Pritchard provided the Ducks some cushion.
