Oregon volleyball endured a bumpy first set against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights before settling down and securing a home sweep on Sunday, 26-24, 25-18, 25-14.
Standout freshman setter Cristin Cline injured her foot in practice on Saturday, and was on the bench with a boot on her left ankle for this game. In her place was transfer Roberta Purashaj, and there was some rough play early on before the Ducks got in sync with their setter.
Initially, there did not seem to be much of an issue - Oregon’s early 6-0 run gave them a 6-1 lead and all seemed to be well.
