The Oregon Ducks followed a five-set thriller between Baylor and Hawaii. Hawaii was ahead 2-0 going into the break and Baylor came back to win the match 3-2. Oregon started their game vs New Mexico State an hour later and came out looking sluggish giving up several points early in the first set off assist errors from Ronika Stone. They came back and tied the set at 13 with key blocks and forcing miscues by the Aggies.
Taylor Borup and Lindsey Vander Weide led the Oregon Ducks in the first set to a 25-22 win. There were errors early, but the Ducks strung together points in bunches in key moments of the first set.
