It was a tale of two halves as Hawaii came shooting out the gate and kept it close with the Ducks in the first half thanks to their stellar three-point shooting. 2nd half was Oregon’s chance to counter and they capitalized. Payton Pritchard lead the way with a double-double consisting of 20 points and 11 assists (season-high). Defensively, the Ducks turned it up and picked up the Warriors in the full court. Hawaii’s shooting percentage went way down (finished with 38.6% from the field) as no shots came easy for the Rainbow Warriors. They were being forced out of any sort of set and being put in an uncomfortable position on offense with only being allowed deep/contested two-pointers.
