It wasn't pretty for the Oregon track & field team this week in the rankings as both the men and women dropped in their respective polls.
In the latest USTFCCCA outdoor Division I rankings, the Oregon men fell four spots from No. 3 to No. 7 while the women fell two spots from No. 1 to No. 3.
The result of the fall comes from the removal of preseason times, which until this week, counted for points in the rankings. Below is an explanation from USTFCCA:
Preseason marks in the 5000 and 10,000 stayed on the board so long as an athlete has competed in that event this season.
