EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon football program is teaming up with former Heisman Trophy winner and current Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota and the Motiv8 Foundation to help raise funds for those in Hawaii who have been impacted by Hurricane Lane.
"I want to express a big mahalo to the Oregon Football program and the players from Hawaii on the team for helping with the Hurricane Lane relief effort," said Mariota, "It means a great deal to us to be able to help people back home. We are blessed that the hurricane weakened, but there is still a great deal of damage from flooding and heavy rains throughout the islands and this will assist in the recovery efforts.
