EUGENE -- Oregon softball concluded its opening weekend of the fall with its third straight shutout.
Shannon Rhodes and Allee Bunker each drove in three runs and Megan Kleist, Maggie Balint and Miranda Elish combined for 22 strikeouts and no walks in a 18-0, three-hit shutout of Concordia-Portland in 10 innings at Jane Sanders Stadium on Sunday.
The Ducks got on the board quickly as Alexis Mack singled, Haley Cruse drove her in with an RBI double and Rhodes followed with an RBI single as part of a four-run first.
Rhodes drove in another run via a fielder's choice in a two-run second while Kleist struck out seven and allowed two hits over the first three innings.
