This is clearly not the Oregon Softball team we are used to from past years, but when coaches and players depart, you do the best with what you have. Head Coach Melyssa Lombardi had managed to pull it together well so far in her first season in Eugene. Oregon hosted Oklahoma State on Friday night in their home opener and there were some big flashes for a now young Oregon Program.
Oregon lost the opener of the three-game series 3-0. Oregon Starter Jordan Dail, who started the season 9-0, lost her fourth game of the year. She pitched a complete game giving up just four hits and three runs, but the Oregon Offense could not get going picking up just one hit for the game.
