BERKELEY -- For the first time in two seasons, Oregon rebounded from a gut-wrenching loss with a win on the road over a ranked opponent.
Justin Herbert led a balanced offensive display for the No. 19 Ducks. Herbert was brilliant, completing 15 of 21 for 218 yards and two touchdowns and added six carries for 31 yards and Oregon had 264 rushing yards thanks 18 carries for 115 yards and a touchdown from true freshman Travis Dye and nine carries for 106 yards from CJ Verdell in a 42-24 rout of No. 24 Cal Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
