Oregon senior Edward Cheserek is again a finalist for The Bowerman Award

Oregon senior Edward Cheserek is one of three male finalists for The Bowerman, college track & field's equivalent of the Heisman Trophy.

The Bowerman, awarded annually to the top male and female athletes in college track & field, will be presented Friday in Orlando, Florida.

This is the third time Cheserek has been a finalist. He never has won the award.

The UO distance runner joins Texas A&M middle distance runner Donavan Brazier and Arkansas sprinter/jumper Jarrion Lawson as finalists.

Women finalists are Texas sprinter Courtney Okolo, Georgia triple jumper Keturah Orji and Mississippi shot putter Raven Saunders.
