Redshirt sophomore Darrian Felix has elected to transfer from the University of Oregon. After tallying 34 carries for 197 yards, six receptions for 78 yards, and two touchdowns this season, the speedy back is looking to earn more playing time on a roster that can better utilize him. The Oregonian’s James Crapea first made the report.
Felix was behind Verdell, Dye and Habibi-Likio on the depth chart, all of whom plan to return next season. The former three-star recruit played in seven games in 2019, two in 2018 and nine in 2017. In his second year, Felix suffered a season-ending ankle injury that sidelined him after just two games.
