EUGENE -- Oregon running back CJ Verdell is coping with a hip flexor, but is expected to be well enough to play this week against Arizona.
Verdell suffered the injury following a 25-yard catch on Oregon's final drive in its loss at Washington State.
"CJ got banged up, a hip flexor," Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said. "I think he's going to be OK. He seems like he's going to be OK."
Verdell, who had 12 carries for 55 yards and two catches for 25 yards last week, leads the No. 19 Ducks with 109 carries for 586 yards and four touchdowns this season.
