EUGENE -- Oregon defensive end Austin Faoliu is once again on the mend.
Faoliu, who missed the game at Cal with a leg injury but returned last week and had four tackles with .5 for loss against Washington, did not practice on Wednesday.
Initially working with other injured players and without a helmet, Faoliu removed his shoulder pads by the end of the third period of practice.
The No. 12 Ducks have relied on Drayton Carlberg whenever Faoliu has been out and may need to do so again against No. 25 Washington State on Saturday.
