EUGENE -- Oregon's leading running back and now-starting middle linebacker returned to practice.
After missing Tuesday's practice, CJ Verdell, who injured his neck against Utah, and linebacker Sampson Niu, who was in concussion protocol, both were dressed out for practice while offensive tackle Steven Jones (concussion protocol) remained absent Wednesday morning at the Moshofsky Center.
Both Verdell or Niu were limited though and did not take part in position drills during the early periods open to media viewing.
Running backs Tony Brooks-James and Travis Dye took carries during a handoff drill and Cyrus Habibi-Likio also took part if a different pass drill.
