EUGENE -- Oregon point guard and leading returning scorer Payton Pritchard was out for Thursday's exhibition with Western Oregon due to bruised ribs.
Oregon announced the injury to Pritchard, who averaged 14.5 points, 4.8 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game last season, prior to the start of Thursday's game.
With Pritchard on the bench in street clothes, Ehab Amin started at point guard for the Ducks.
Oregon had just seven healthy scholarship players on Thursday as Paul White was in Chicago attending the funerals of two friends and freshmen Will Richardson (foot) and Louis King (knee) are out with injuries.
