EUGENE -- Oregon and Michigan State will each pay the other $400,000 as part of a home-and-home football series scheduled for 2029 and 2030, according to the series contract.
Michigan State hosts UO on Sept. 8, 2029 and will pay the Ducks $400,000 for the trip, according to the contract, which was signed by UO athletic director Rob Mullens on Aug. 3 and released Monday after a public records request from The Oregonian/OregonLive. UO will then pay the Spartans the same amount in exchange for a Sept. 7, 2030 game in Eugene's Autzen Stadium.
The contract also specifies that Pac-12 Conference officials will work the 2029 game and Big Ten officials the 2030 game.
