The Oregon Ducks will send a one-dimensional men's contingent to next week's NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Texas.
All five individuals -- Sam Prakel (mile), Reed Brown (mile), Mick Stanovsek (mile), James West (3,000) and Tanner Anderson (5,000) -- are distance runners. The Ducks also have entered their distance medley relay.
The UO men generally have a distance orientation, but usually at least some entries in other events. Last year, for instance, UO NCAA Indoor entries included sprinter Kyree King, long jumper Damarcus Simpson and multi Mitch Modin.
Stuff happens. Simpson is on the roster but didn't compete indoors.
