I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon charting the Pac-12 Track & Field Championships, which begin today at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field.
If I'm right, this could be the year Oregon's streak of sweeping the conference team titles comes to an end at nine.
On my chart, the UO men are favored to win their 11th consecutive Pac-12 team title by 32 points over USC. But the women's meet is another story. I have the Women of Troy with a five-point edge going in.
Of course, five points is well within the statistical margin of error, and UO coach Robert Johnson has been adept at pushing the right buttons in big meets.
