Yesterday was the early signing period for high school basketball players to commit to their future college. The Oregon basketball program landed two commits, Chandler Lawson (2019 PF) and Isaac Johnson (2019 PF).
Chandler Lawson is a 4-star recruit from Tennessee and is ranked #58 in the ESPN100. The 6’8 forward also had offers from Kansas, Kentucky, Florida and many more. He is a skilled combo forward that can play both the 3 and 4. His brothers, Dedric and KJ, both play at Kansas after transferring from Memphis. It looks like Chandler wanted to create his own path on the West Coast.
