It’s been a while since Oregon has had a legitimate NFL prospect at the tight end position. A couple of years ago, Jacob Breeland went undrafted but signed a contract after the process but even after racking up over 1,200 career receiving yards, he just didn’t turn enough heads.
Before Breeland, it was Pharaoah Brown who was a first-team All-Pac-12 tight end multiple times between 2012-16 and there were also guys like David Paulson and Cole Lyerla.
