In football, winning is sometimes not pretty, as anyone who watched today’s matchup of the #3 Oregon Ducks against the Idaho Vandals would attest.
The Oregon Ducks hosted the Idaho Vandals on a very hot 92 degree afternoon in front of 57,435 sweltering fans. During this game, Oregon felt the heat as well, and not just from the temperature.
Idaho won the toss and elected to receive, starting on their own 25. A quick three-and-out forced them to punt.
Oregon started on their own 29 yard line and quarterback Dillon Gabriel used a familiar group of names to march down the field for the Ducks’ first touchdown: Jordan James, Terrance Ferguson and Noah Whittington.
