The Oregon Football Spring Game had some surprises and some disappointments, but the key to the game was everyone finished the two-hour scrimmage healthy entering Summer. Quarterback Justin Herbert showed that his arm was back to full strength following a broken clavicle last season. He was 12 for 21 on the day with 126 yards a touchdown and an interception.
Both Backup Quarterbacks showed solid improvement this Spring. Braxton Burmeister was 7 for 12 for 62 yards with a pass that was on a rope into the end zone to Jack Vecchi just before halftime. Freshman Tyler Shough had a better afternoon going 5 for 8 for 103 yards and two touchdowns.
