For some players, the chance of playing in the National Football League is still on life support. Following the NFL Draft, teams will sign players as Free Agent additions, typically with an invite to Camp for workouts.
The most notable was Henry Mondeaux putting pen to paper with the New Orleans Saints. Mondeaux played an important role for the Oregon Defense in 2017 as was also the Captain for Defensive Coordinator Jim Leavitt. It was a bit of a surprise that he was not among the 256 players taken in the 2018 NFL Draft, but he will have his opportunity to work his way into the lineup for the Saints.
