Oregon Ducks football came to the Rose Bowl today as a slight underdog against the Ohio State Buckeyes. Taking OSU would prove to be safe money, as the undefeated Ducks were never in this game and completely chased out of the stadium. The Ducks went down 41-21, and it wasn’t even that close.
Oregon won the toss and deferred to the second half.
OSU’s first play was a pass off blown coverage for 30 yards. After an incomplete pass, the Buckeyes connected for a 45-yard TD pass from Will Howard to Jeremiah Smith to get on the board first and went up 7-0.
