According to Duck Territory, Head Coach Mario Cristobal and Defensive Coordinator Jim Leavitt both had roles in getting Poti to commit to play for Oregon Football. He is the 12th player for the Class of 2019 for the Ducks. Out of California, he is also one of the strongest players in the State.
