Oregon Football Recruiting: Quarterback Michael Johnson Jr. Commits To Penn State

The top Quarterback Prospect in the State of Oregon will not be staying close to home. Class of 2019 Recruit Michael Johnson Jr, son of Oregon Assistant Coach Michael Johnson has committed to play for James Franklin and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Michael Johson Jr. is the 6th highest recruit that was remaining in the Nation in the Quarterback category.

His decision came down to the atmosphere and his future teammates. He did not rely so much on flashy uniforms or splashy facilities when making his choice. The current Quarterback for the Sheldon High School Fighting Irish moved with his father and family when Michael Senior took the job with Oregon Football under Willie Taggart last season.
