On Monday and Tuesday, the University of Oregon announced that Starting Quarterback Justin Herbert made the Maxwell Award List for the Nation’s Best College Player. The following day he was added to the Davey O’Brien Watch List for the Top Quarterback. The accolades ahead of the 2018 season started several weeks ago for the Ducks Junior Signal Caller.
NFL Analysts have been salivating over Herbert since last season. His height, arm strength and pinpoint accuracy have been well documented. Before his injury last season Herbert had Oregon Football on a positive trajectory with a 6-1 start as the team was starting to make noise and also make some moves in the Top 25.
