While Herbert and the Oregon offense only managed just 204 yards against a stout Wisconsin Badgers Defense, but they made the yards count. Herbert scampered for three touchdowns racking up 23 yards on the ground. For a player who has been more of a pocket passer, it was a pleasant surprise to see him running through available lanes.
While the Oregon offense did enough, it was the Ducks defense that played the best game of the season. Brady Breeze played lights out for the second straight game after the Pac-12 Championship. Breeze had 11 tackles on the night, 9 solo, along with a pass breakup and a recovery off a muffed Wisconsin punt for a touchdown.
