The game was marred by weather in the second half but Oregon used their lone strength on Offense that the Oregon State Beavers could not stop, even though they knew it was coming. The Ducks Running Game stood out like a sore thumb with two players nearing the 200-yard rushing mark for the game.
CJ Verdell and Travis Dye were the effective Offense for Oregon with Verdell scoring five touchdowns on the afternoon. Dye scampered into the end zone for two and Herbert had a score before he left the game with a shoulder injury after an Oregon State sack.
