Oregon Football played their second game of the regular season against the Portland State Vikings. In the non-conference In-State Rivalry, the Ducks had the advantage. Portland State did not win a game last season and lost their season opener against Nevada last weekend.
Portland State would start with the ball in a less than full house at Autzen Stadium for the 11 am kickoff. The Vikings opened with a first down on the opening drive, but the second drive ended in a punt. Oregon Football struggled on their opening drive to start with Herbert missing several receivers early.
