Some would say 69-10 was a beat down and I would agree. It is rough to look back and think where this team would be if Justin Herbert had not gone down with an injury against Cal that cost him a big chunk of the season. However, Braxton Burmeister gained valuable experience and found a way to showcase his legs and occasionally his arm. Head Coach Willie Taggart preached more than once the importance of not turning over the football with the Freshman at Quarterback.
Justin Herbert brings back more than just a breath of fresh air, but also the ability to become two-dimensional again.
