Justin Herbert has had a stellar season so far. In Pac-12 play, he is completing close to 70 percent of his passes and has thrown just two interceptions. He brought Oregon back from a two-touchdown deficit last week in a comeback victory over Washington on the road and the challenge this week is different, but the goal is the same.
Earlier this week Wide Receiver Brenden Schooler announced he was entering the transfer portal. He has played in three games this season and missed the first month with a foot injury he suffered over the summer. Without his experience, the next man up philosophy will be in full effect.
