The game was a crossroads for both teams and Oregon was ready from the start to answer the call. After being down 3-0 early, Quarterback Justin Herbert was able to find Tight End Jacob Breeland for two touchdowns in the win. The first was a throw to the right front of the endzone that only Breeland could catch. Jaylon Redd, Johnny Johnson III, and Braylon Addison had key plays throughout the game that kept the Oregon Offense moving and also kept the Stanford Offense off the field.
Unlike their first two games of the season, Oregon had just 320 yards of offense for the game, and it was effective against a Stanford team that was clearly trying to find an identity.
